We've got you covered this Presidents' week with a jam-packed schedule of activities and events at all of our venues! Spend your day carving turns on the hill and then head into town for an afternoon of zipping down the bobsled track or skating on the Olympic Skating Oval. Also, Be sure to take a peek at our Trail Map before heading to the mountain, and check out our Conditions page each morning for the most updated information on lift and trail openings and on-mountain happenings.
After a day on the hill, don't miss all of the Presidents' Week Happenings we have scheduled at our Lake Placid Olympic venues! Be sure to purchase your Olympic Sites Passport in advance online or at the Olympic Center Box Office to SAVE big on activities like Cloudsplitter Gondola rides and trips up the elevator of the 120m ski jumping tower. Check out the schedule* below for details on activities and events at the Olympic Jumping Complex, Olympic Sports Complex, Mt. Van Hoevenberg Cross Country Ski Center, the Olympic Center and Skating Oval.

Tips for a great Presidents' Week at Whiteface
Check out these great tips from the Whiteface staff to ensure you have a great holiday week at Whiteface!
#1: Explore our on-mountain dining options
Plan your lunch break with your family and friends at one of our seven on-mountain dining options! To avoid the busiest times, aim to grab lunch before 11:30 am or after 1:30 pm, or snag something quick at one of our grab-n-go locations and spend more time on the hill.
#2: Get your rentals in advance
Our Rental Shop is open extended hours during the holiday week from 7:30 am - 5:30 pm. Head over to the mountain the day before your first ski day to pick up your rentals, so you can go straight to the lift the next day.
#3: Take the shuttle
The Mountain Valley Shuttle is a free shuttle service that runs from Lake Placid to Whiteface with several stops in Lake Placid and Wilmington. Check out the shuttle schedule below.
#4: Sign up for First Tracks
Take a guided run prior to the morning opening and enjoy the freshies! First Tracks is a free program offered daily. Skiers and riders should be suited, booted, ticketed and ready to go at the Guest Services Desk by 7:45 am to participate. Available on a first come, first served basis for 14 participants each day. Call Whiteface Guest Services at (518) 946-2223 (ext. 310) or email firstname.lastname@example.org to reserve your spot. All participants must be at or above intermediate skiing or riding abilities.
#5: Check out our off-hill activities & holiday happenings

#6: Take a lesson at Bear Den Learning Center
We've got some of the best learning terrain in the East for first time skiers and riders! Our professional instructors will guide you through your first experience skiing and snowboarding, making sure that you are having fun while improving your skills. Starting from scratch? Our Bear Den Mountain Learning Center is entirely dedicated to beginners and has the perfect tucked-away environment for both children and adults to progress at their own speed.
For those of you that already have the basics down, Whiteface's expert terrain is legendary, providing a true big mountain experience. Our certified PSIA coaches will take your skills to the next level and provide you with that thrill of mastery we all pursue with skiing and snowboarding.
