FREE SCREENING OF "MIRACLE" AT THE PALACE THEATRE  |  February 22 at 4:00 pm & 6:30 pm—Elderwood of Uihlein at Lake Placid and the Palace Theatre, with assistance from the Adirondack Film Society, will be sponsoring two free public screenings of Walt Disney's movie "Miracle" on Thursday, February 22. There will be two showings—4:00 pm and 6:30 pm. This is a first come, first served screening.

This event is to recognize the acheivements of the 1980 hockey team who brought so much pride to our community and country. The film "Miracle" is about the underdog U.S. hockey team's triumphant victory over the heavily favored Russian team in the 1980 Olympics held in Lake Placid, starring Kurt Russell as Coach Herb Brooks.
