Freaky Friday
Sometimes you just have to cut loose and have a little fun. Skaters in our Freaky Friday events abandon their regular routines in favor of creativity, humor and amusement. You're not going see these athletes, some of whom will likely go on to Olympic careers, do this on TV—or anyplace else, for that matter. In this event—perfect for a family outing—they're not worried about perfecting a lutz, they're more concerned with providing a laugh. Still, they take it seriously: the routines are judged on entertainment value and the skater with the best scores at the end of the year earns a $1,000 savings bond.General Information:
