Smart Style
Smart Style is a program created by among others the National Ski Areas Association, Burton Snowboards, and the National Ski Patrol. The basic idea is to educate everyone, skiers, riders, old school & new to the safety and etiquette required to use terrain park areas.
The big three to remember:
1. Look before you leap
Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know landings are clear, and clear yourself out of the landing area2. Easy style it Start small and work your way up.
(Inverted aerials not recommended.)3. Respect gets respect
From the lift line through the park.
