> Jim Hoyt, Jr. has been named the ORDA Employee of the Month for March. JR is the Ski Patrol Director and has been a patroller for the past 25 years. In March, he and his crew played a major role in the installation of over 4.5 miles of "B" netting and safety pads along the NorAm courses, while providing medical coverage for the events at the mountain and the public. JR, "as usual, led by example – he was on the course early and stayed late, working along side crews day after day," according to his nomination form. Congratulations, JR. Click here for photo……

> Whiteface will open Lookout Mountain in December 2008, located between the Slides and Kids Kampus. An expert and intermediate trail were cut during the summer of 2007. Lookout Mountain will have a vertical drop of 2,200 feet. Two more expert runs are expected to be added for the 2009-2010 season.
