Saturday, February 25 at 9:00 am: Join us for our second Whiteface Olympic History Tour of the season hosted by former Mountain Manager Bruce McCulley, and get an on the slopes insider look at what it took to get the trails ready for the 1980 Winter Olympic Games. The tour begins this Saturday at 9:00 am and is free to valid lift ticket or season pass holders. You'll be skiing or riding the Olympic trails, so expert ability is required for all participants. Saturday, February 25 at 1:00 pm: Register at Guest Services this Saturday, February 25 by 1:00 pm. $10 entry fee and helmets required. Lots of great prizes—including a pair of skis & a snowboard—from our ski shop partners: Cunningham's Ski Barn, Lake Placid Ski & Board, Maui North & Viking Ski Shop.
Due to the forecast this weekend's Lake Placid Loppet & Nordic Festival has been postponed to Saturday, March 18 to ensure optimal racing conditions. For those currently registered, your registration will roll over to the new date. If you are not registered yet, you will have additional weeks to train and our online registration deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 14. We will see you on the trails!
Sunday, March 12: Mark your calendars for our final Give Back Sunday of the season at Whiteface on Sunday, March 12! Bring a grocery bag of pet food and/or toys, or a 10lb+ bag of dry pet food to the ticket window and receive 50% off of your lift ticket for the day! All donations will go to our local animal shelter.
Join us this Friday, November 25th for public skating in the 1932 rink from 1:00 - 3:00 pm. $6 for adults & teens, $4 for juniors & seniors, and free skating for 6 & under! Rentals available at $5 per person.
Whiteface Mountain is scheduled to open for the season on Thursday, November 24th at 10:00 am. Discounted tickets are available online. Window tickets for skiing on Thanksgiving will be at the following discounted rates: $52 for adults, $42 for seniors & teens, $32 for juniors, and free for 6 & under.
On Friday, November 25th we'll resume our normal operating hours for the season, open daily from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm.
