You don't need to be graceful on skis or skates to have fun and get exercise in the winter. If you love to hike, you'll love to snowshoe. Strap on a pairbring your own or rent from usand follow the miles of cross-country ski and snowshoe-only trails through some of the beautiful woods that make this region, the Adirondacks, famous. A great sport to share with friends and family, snowshoeing allows you to enjoy the outdoors in winter at your own pace.

Mt Van Hoevenberg Views
Join our NYS licensed guide for a snowshoe hike departing from the Lodge and heading for the top of Mt Van Hoevenberg for amazing view of the Adirondack High Peaks. The hike travels up the famous Ladies 5km, merges with 1932 Bobsled Track, a member of National Historic Register, before reaching the summit for a panoramic view. Brunch is served in the 1980 Start House overlooking Lake Placid, Whiteface Mt and the Bobsled Track. All snowshoers receive a logoed hydration pack and brunch.
