Archives
The Museum holds an extensive collection of Olympic materials. The book collection includes final report and results from both Summer and Winter Olympiads. Collections also include photographs from the III Olympic Winter Games in 1932 and documents from Godfrey Dewey, the President of the III Olympic Winter Games Committee. The archives room houses 750 linear feet of materials from the 1980 Lake Placid Olympic Organizing Committee.
The Archives is open to researchers, Thursday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. throughout the year. An appointment should be made with the archivist at

Media
Photography and filming are permitted once your media representative has signed the
Media Agreement form. (download pdf file) Any and all responsibility of questions of copyright which may arise from the use of materials will be assumed by the applicant. In cases where copyright is held by a third party, written permission must be secured by the applicant from that party or their agent and must accompany the application.
