Lake Placid Bobsled Experience

 If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be a comet, this is the place to start. Bobsled rides, with a professional driver and brakeman, begin at the half-mile point on the track (the same one used by Olympic racers) and wind through Shady, Labyrinth and The Heart—turns known by racers the world over. You'll feel the rumble of the sled's blades passing over the track's iced surface. You'll slide through one turn, bank high on the next one and pick up speed on the straightaway. Reservations are recommended but require at least 48 hour advance notice. If you do not have a reservation, tickets may be
purchased in person during ride sessions, although space can be limited. Track & weather conditions permitting.
