Be a Biathlete
It began, they say, more than a century ago as a training exercise for Norwegian soldiers, which goes a long way toward explaining how cross-country skiing and riflery met. The result is the biathlon, the only sport that involves ski wax and bullets. And this is one of the few places you can learn about it and give it a shot.Take an hour-long freestyle skiing lesson with our experienced instructors and then head out to the range and, under careful supervision, take aim at understanding this unique sport. We also offer an option to test your skills on our biathlon shooting range only.

Please arrive at Cross Country Lodge 30 minutes prior to program start for payment and equipment rental.
Please note, skis must be removed when shooting during the Be a Biathlete program.
